Edible Monster Cookie Dough

This edible monster cookie dough is packed with rolled oats, peanut butter, chocolate chips and m&m's! It's perfect to roll and cover in chocolate, to use as a dip for apples, pretzels or graham crackers or to just eat with a spoon.

Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • Hand mixer or stand mixer
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • silicone spatula
  • Kitchen scale to weigh the peanut butter, optional

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup unsalted butter softened
  • ¾ cup creamy peanut butter 180 grams or 6.5 ounces
  • ¾ cup light brown sugar packed
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 tablespoons milk
  • cup rolled oats
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup m and m's milk chocolate (recommended)
  • ½ cup chocolate chips semi-sweet (recommended)

Instructions

  • Using a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment or a hand mixer, cream the butter, peanut butter and brown sugar on high for 1-2 minutes. Scrape down the bowl once complete.
  • Add in the vanilla extract, milk and salt. Mix until combined.
  • Add the rolled oats and mix until well-combined. Scrape down the bowl once complete.
  • Add the chocolate chips and m&m's fold them into the dough using the mixer or a silicone spatula.
  • Store the dough in the fridge, but enjoy at room temperature!
