Triple Chocolate Pancakes
These pancakes contain a special ingredient to make them EXTRA chocolatey - chocolate milk! Top them with creamy chocolate ganache or a frosting drizzle and you'll have the perfect morning treat!

For the Triple Chocolate Pancakes
- 1¼ cup all-purpose flour
- 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ cup vegetable or canola oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1¼ cup chocolate milk white milk can be substituted
- 1 egg
- ¾ cup chocolate chips semi-sweet recommended
Chocolate Topping (optional)
- ½ cup heavy cream
- ¾ cup chocolate chips semi-sweet recommended
Frosting Drizzle (optional)
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 2-4 tablespoons milk or water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
To make the Triple Chocolate Pancakes
In a medium-large bowl, whisk together dry ingredients (flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, salt).
Add in all of the wet ingredients (oil, eggs, chocolate milk, vanilla extract) and beat well (using whisk or electric mixer).
Add in chocolate chips and incorporate well.
Heat a large skillet or frying pan and grease it well. Pour large round dollops over the heated pan to create pancakes (⅓-½ cup of batter). Cook the first side for 30 seconds- 1 minute or until the edges and middle begin to bubble. Flip over and cook the other side.
Cover the pancakes with chocolate ganache, frosting drizzle, syrup and/or your favorite fruits and enjoy!

Combine powdered sugar, vanilla and 2 tablespoons of water or milk. Mix well with whisk or fork.
Add additional tablespoons of water or milk to reach desired consistency. Drizzle over the top of your pancakes.
