I’ve added my own twist to the popular no-bake Snickers and Apple salad! This summery dessert has a vanilla pudding and cool whip base and is packed with snickers, green apples, marshmallows and fudge stripe cookies. It’s so simple and so delicious!
Here are a few other delicious substitution ideas!
- Add chopped Reese’s instead of Snickers
- If you don’t have cool whip on hand, you can substitute 1 cup of heavy whipping cream plus 3 tablespoons powdered sugar. Whip until stiff peaks form, then add to the salad
- Add in some canned mandarin oranges or chopped strawberries if you’d like to add some more fruit flavor!
Happy baking!

Can this be made ahead of time?
Jackie says
Yes, but I would hold off on adding the apples until 2 days or less before you’re planning to eat it. You can also lightly toss the apples in lemon juice so that they don’t brown as quickly.

Has anyone ever tried canned apples? My dad can’t chew the hard apples
Jackie says
I have never tried it, but if you did I would recommend patting them down with a paper towel to remove some of the moisture prior to adding them to the salad. The extra moisture of the canned apples may affect the whipped cream base.
