These mini dirt cups are made using an Oreo crust made in a muffin pan, then they are filled with chocolate cream and topped with a gummy worm and crushed Oreo’s!
Quick Tips
- I highly recommend using a silicone muffin tin for the Oreo crusts to ensure easy removal. If you are not using a silicone pan, be sure to use cupcake liners so that you can get them out of the pan without breaking the crusts
- Be sure to press a thick layer of the Oreo crust mixture throughout the sides of each muffin well to minimize breaking of the edges
- Use a piping bag or gallon bag to pipe the chocolate filling into the Oreo crusts – this is cleaner and easier than using a spoon!
Equipment
- Food processor or blender
- Mixing bowls
- Measuring cup and spoons
- Silicone spatula
- Whisk
- Piping bag (optional)
Ingredient Notes
- Oreo’s: family sized package (~45 Oreo’s are required)
- Butter: salted or unsalted is okay
- Instant chocolate pudding: 3.4 ounce box
- Milk: any type is okay – it needs to be cold
- Cool whip: or any off-brand whipped topping, 8 ounces required (chilled, not frozen)
- Gummy worms
